I went home for Thanksgiving and brought my 4x5 along. It is obvious that I had put the camera down for too long. I like some of the shots, but find the composition to be a little off, or the exposure to be wrong. These were quick scans and such, I am working on making finals of a lot of my work from the past 4 years.
The images from top to bottom: James's Table, Sam and Carley (Newly Weds), Mom's Kitchen, John's Desk, Ava, Home from College.
My interest in photography began back in high school when my step-dad helped me build our furnace room into a dark room. I began my BFA in 2003 at the Maine College of Art. In my third year there I fell in love with the large format camera's, both 4x5 and 8x10. Almost immediately after graduating I realized I needed some sort of format to view and keep track of the work I make. A blog seemed to be the perfect way to share my work as well as continue to look at other artists work.

I love the photos! They are very relaxed and honest. I especially love the white kitchen, with the black iron hot plates hung by the window. Beautiful
